"summary": "Formula One is returning to Africa for the first time since the 1993 South African Grand Prix. According to reports from Punch, The Korea Times, DW News, and DW English (Top Stories), Rwanda has signed a 10-year contract to host the African Grand Prix starting in the early 2030s.\n\nThe race will take place at a purpose-built track in Bugesera, located southeast of the capital, Kigali. DW English (Top Stories) reports that the track is expected to be ready early in the next decade. During a launch event in Kigali, Rwandan President Paul Kagame described the partnership as a milestone for the continent and expressed hope that the event would pave the way for other races in Africa.\n\nF1 President and chief executive Stefano Domenicali called the development a landmark moment for the sport. The Korea Times and DW English (Top Stories) note that seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has been a vocal proponent of bringing racing back to the continent.",
