"account": "French cloud provider Scaleway has announced plans to open a new AI computing site in Copenhagen, utilizing Nvidia chips for its operations. This follows Scaleway's recent announcement of a similar expansion in Sweden, powered by AMD. The company's CEO, Damien Lucas, stated that these expansions aim to increase Scaleway's computing capacity in northern Europe, catering to European businesses seeking to host their AI work under EU regulations. According to Lucas, access to high-performance computing for AI is a strategic priority for European organizations. The Nvidia-powered machines at their Copenhagen site will employ the Nvidia HGX B300 system, which is built around the latest-generation AI chips from Nvidia. Copenhagen was chosen for the new site due to the city's robust tech sector, its commitment to low-carbon electricity, and its cool climate, which reduces the energy required for cooling purposes. Scaleway already offers services to Danish customers, including the City of Copenhagen and AI firm Corti.",
