"account": "Eight individuals sustained injuries when a stabbing incident occurred at a supermarket in Incheon, South Korea on Tuesday, according to police reports. One victim experienced cardiac arrest during the attack, which prompted officers to swiftly respond to the scene. Upon arriving, authorities apprehended a male suspect believed to have been wielding knives affixed to his hands. The suspect moved throughout the shopping complex across multiple floors, targeting people before being subdued by bystanders and subsequently handed over to the police.\n\nSouth Korean news outlets described the suspect as a man in his 60s, who was also under an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet at the time of the incident. The victims comprised six women and two men, with a woman in her 20s among them requiring immediate medical attention due to cardiac arrest. Incheon, situated west of Seoul, is a key city in South Korea, housing the country's primary airport and forming a part of the broader Seoul metropolitan area.\n\nThe stabbing saga in South Korea has been particularly concerning in recent times. In 2023, a string of stabbing rampages left multiple individuals dead and injured. Most recently, in May, a 17-year-old girl was fatally stabbed and another teenager was injured in the southwestern city of Gwangju by a 20-something assailant. This individual was later sentenced by a court to life imprisonment.",
