"account": "Borussia Dortmund has agreed to a two-year extension with coach Niko Kovac, keeping the 54-year-old at the club until 2029. The extension was seen as a formality due to Kovac's stabilizing influence since joining the team last year. Kovac, formerly a Croatian midfielder who won the double with Bayern Munich, has transformed Dortmund from mid-table to fourth place and a Champions League spot in his first season. He averages 2.15 points per match in 53 Bundesliga games, outperforming any previous coach at the club. Kovac expressed confidence in the club's future development, stating that they see great potential and are determined to achieve more together. Sporting director Ole Buch praised Kovac's meticulous work and calmness that benefits the team. Dortmund currently sits second in the table, two points ahead of defending champions Bayern, and are unbeaten in both the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.",
