"summary": "A coalition in Benue State has pledged to work with political parties to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election during the 2027 elections, according to Punch. Premium Times reports that the council is expected to oversee media engagement, campaign messaging, and collaboration between state campaign structures, elected officials, and party leaders to promote the re-election bid.\n\nSeparately, Abba Hikima, a human rights activist and national coordinator of the Tinubu Must Go movement, announced the withdrawal of his planned support for certain All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants. As reported by Daily Post Nigeria, Hikima cited the aspirants' attitudes toward the alleged mistreatment of the public, stating he noticed their happiness regarding the oppression of citizens. While Hikima did not identify the specific aspirants affected, he declared that anyone supporting leaders accused of oppression should be held accountable.",
