"account": "Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, has raised concerns over Minister of Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, lacking the right educational background to manage Nigeria's economic policies. In an interview on Channels TV's Politics Today programme, Abdullahi praised Oyedele's intelligence and competence but emphasized that overseeing the economy requires specialized training and expertise. Abdullahi clarified that while he respects Oyedele, the approach an accountant uses to review an economy differs from that of an economist or a development economist. Oyedele, who previously served as the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. He also completed executive education programmes at several prestigious institutions. Despite the controversy surrounding the Federal Government's decision to provide a 30-day discount on petrol, Abdullahi asserted that the role requires individuals specifically trained for such tasks.",
