"account": "Kelly Oubre Jr., an NBA journeyman, signed a two-year, $17 million deal with the Indiana Pacers ahead of the 2026-27 season. Oubre had expressed excitement about the Pacers' fast-paced style of play during his time in Philadelphia, but he is now adjusting to the Pacers' faster pace. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle mentioned that many players express a desire to play fast, but it takes time to adapt to the level of play and commitment required. Oubre made his preseason debut and played 10 minutes in the first game, recording one made three-pointer, two free throws, two assists, and two rebounds. When Tyrese Haliburton sat out in the second game due to a mild ankle tweak, Oubre's increased role allowed him to show his versatility and edge as a teammate. Despite the adjustments, Oubre remains positive about his fit with the Pacers' fundamental basketball style.",
