"account": "US actress Selma Blair was arrested on October 13 after allegedly assaulting two flight attendants on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York City. The 54-year-old star of Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions was reportedly physically abusive towards the cabin crew members, leading to her detention at John F Kennedy Airport. According to authorities, Blair also allegedly assaulted a police officer and a nurse while being transported to the hospital for medical attention. Her representative stated that Blair experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct and that she received immediate medical treatment and is currently in stable condition. The FBI issued a summons accusing Blair of assault, and she was arraigned on two counts of second-degree assault, being released on bail. A new hearing in the case is scheduled for January 19, 2027. Delta Air Lines emphasized their zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, stating that customer and crew safety is their top priority. In 2016, Blair was previously removed from a flight on a stretcher after another outburst. She has previously admitted to blacking out and behaving inappropriately due to mixing alcohol with medication and has described in her 2022 memoir instances where she bit celebrities while under the influence of alcohol.",
