"account": "Former South African judge Navanethem \"Navi\" Pillay, 85, has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her tireless efforts to promote peace and international law. Pillay, who was born in Durban to a Tamil family under apartheid rule, became the first woman of colour to open a law firm in her city and served as South Africa's first non-white woman High Court judge in 1994. Her international career includes her work on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, her tenure as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014, and her role as a presiding officer in a UN commission of inquiry on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Despite criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Pillay expressed her surprise and deep honor at receiving the award and emphasized that justice is integral to peace.",
