"summary": "Amyl and the Sniffers have been announced as the headline act for the upcoming Golden Hour at Bondi Beach in 2027, marking their biggest Australian show to date. The event will take place on March 4, with every act on the day fronted by a woman, including BARKAA and Xiao Xiao. This homecoming tour is the band's first in Australia since 2026, when they headlined the inaugural Golden Hour series, which was sold out. For the 2027 shows, the band has pledged to donate ticket proceeds to various charities, with the Sydney donation specifically supporting the local response to the Bondi attack. The homecoming is a testament to Amyl and the Sniffers' international success, as evidenced by their debut album Cartoon Darkness debuting at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and peaking at No. 196 on the Billboard 200. The group has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including a Grammy nomination for their single \"U Should Not Be Doing That\" and four ARIA Awards in 2025.",
