"account": "Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 981st career goal in Al-Nassr's 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan's Neftchi Fergana in the AFC Champions League Elite match on Monday. The 41-year-old Portuguese forward opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, followed by a goal in the 42nd minute to double Al-Nassr's lead. Neftchi scored once through Alisher Odilov before Ronaldo added his second goal in the 78th minute after Anvarjon Gofurov scored an own goal. The match was delayed by about an hour due to security concerns following missile threats from Yemen-based Houthi rebels. With this win, Al-Nassr earned their first points in the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite season after a previous 4-0 loss to UAE side Al-Ain. Ronaldo continues his pursuit of the 1,000-career-goal milestone.",
