"account": "At a recent rally in Ohio, President Donald Trump discussed WNBA guard Sophie Cunningham, describing her as a beautiful woman who would draw crowds to games due to her looks rather than her basketball skills. Many fans found this comment on the President's remarks about Cunningham's value to the WNBA both hilarious and degrading. Cunningham, who averaged 7.9 points and shot 41.6% from three during the 2026 season, is one of the most popular players in the league. However, her popularity is based more on her appearance than her on-court performance, which some fans find disappointing. Despite this, the WNBA teams may consider signing Cunningham due to her marketability and ability to attract fans, but it may not be a pleasant experience for her to hear the President openly state that her value lies in her looks, not her shooting ability.",
"summary": "Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham will be a free agent in the offseason, and President Donald Trump would like to see her get another WNBA contract, but not for the reasons one would hope. Cunningham has become one of the most popular players in the WNBA during the 2026 season due to her political stances resonating with the majority of people who are against trans inclusion in women’s sports.",
