"account": "US actress Selma Blair was taken into custody at John F Kennedy Airport on Sunday following a reported altercation on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York City, authorities claim. The incident allegedly involved physically abusive behavior towards two cabin crew members, with Blair reportedly punching one flight attendant and biting another. The 54-year-old star then allegedly assaulted a police officer and nurse while being transported to a hospital for medical attention. According to a representative for Blair, her actions were triggered by a pre-existing medical condition.\n\nUpon landing, Blair received immediate medical assistance and is currently in stable condition. The FBI subsequently issued a summons accusing her of assaults on the plane, according to a federal judicial source. On Monday night, Blair appeared in court for arraignment on two counts of second-degree assault and was released on bail. She is set to return to court for a new hearing on January 19, 2027.\n\nDelta Air Lines confirmed that the airline maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards unruly or unlawful behavior, emphasizing that the safety of passengers and crew is the top priority. In 2016, Blair had been removed from a flight on a stretcher following another outburst during a flight. In her 2022 memoir, she revealed that she had a history of biting celebrities, including Kate Moss, often in situations involving alcohol consumption.",
