"account": "The Rugby League World Cup kicks off with France facing Samoa in Sydney, as negotiations for the NRL's proposed investment in Super League reach a conclusion. Trent Robinson, currently coaching the Sydney Roosters, is assisting French coach Laurent Frayssinous at the tournament. Robinson believes the NRL's involvement could rejuvenate rugby league in France, a sport that once dominated the international stage in the 1950s and 1960s but has since declined. France, ranked 11th globally, faces a challenging match against a Samoan team with strong NRL talent. While Super League clubs in England and France are considering the offer, some British clubs are hesitant to relinquish control to the NRL. Robinson, however, is convinced that the NRL's global perspective and recognition of French rugby league's value could propel the sport forward.",
