"account": "MyDigital ID asserts it is not reliant on third-party blockchain technology, despite a recent report suggesting otherwise. The digital identity platform, operated by My Digital ID Sdn Bhd, reports that it has successfully registered 83% of Malaysia's digitally active population, granting access to over 14 million Malaysians to more than 1,000 services through 204 applications.\n\nMyDigital ID, owned by Mof Inc and under the purview of the Prime Minister's Department, is backed by the National Security Council and National Cyber Security Agency. The company clarified that MyDigital ID is a secure and trusted platform aimed at enhancing and streamlining online identity verification, without intending to supersede the MyKad system.\n\nIt functions as a single sign-on solution, offering Malaysians increased security and convenience in accessing digital services and conducting transactions. Importantly, MyDigital ID does not retain any personal data nor does it serve as an alternative for identification purposes, replacing the MyKad.",
