"account": "On Saturday, construction worker Miguel Parra, 48, was struck by an unmarked ICE vehicle in Houston, Texas, during the ongoing immigration crackdown. Parra's leg was broken in three places, and he is awaiting further surgeries to fully reconstruct his leg. His lawyer, Kim Bruno, claims the incident was intentional and an act of abuse, contradicting ICE's statement that Parra ran into the path of the vehicle. The incident is the latest in a series of severe injuries resulting from the harsh national crackdown on immigration in the United States. Cesar Espinosa of FIEL Houston stated that Parra has suffered additional injuries to his hip, ankle, and knee, and will require more surgeries. Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare promised to investigate the incident as a potential crime of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This case follows recent shootings of immigrants by ICE agents, including Oscar Belgal, a Dominican national, who was shot in New York, and Wilber Garces, a Venezuelan national, who was shot in Austin.",
