"summary": "Danny Trejo is facing backlash for his role in the pro-ICE film Pawn Shop, which is produced by Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend. According to The Hill, Trejo stated that he does not back Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Production for the project resumed Monday in Livingston, Montana, following complaints from local residents regarding the film's impact.\n\nGilbert Trejo, the actor's son, defended his father by claiming Danny Trejo had never heard of Ben Shapiro or his character until two weeks into production, according to Deadline. Variety reports that Trejo is contractually unable to make negative comments regarding Shapiro or the project.",
