"account": "Google has introduced the Fitbit Edge, a new fitness tracker priced at $179.99 with a replaceable battery offering up to seven days of battery life. Positioned between Google's screenless Fitbit Air and its advanced Pixel Watch line, the Edge merges a sleek fitness-band design with a Hybrid OLED display and enhanced health and workout capabilities.\n\nThe 46% larger display on the Edge provides better visibility, even in direct sunlight, and incorporates a physical side button for easier workout control. It can automatically identify and classify over 100 exercises and enables users to initiate over 50 workout modes directly from the device. Google's integrated GPS tracks routes without the need for a connected phone, and an altimeter records elevation changes.\n\nThe fitness tracker is equipped with heart-rate monitoring, skin-temperature tracking, and an ECG app for heart-rhythm assessment. Google also introduces Health Guardian, a feature set that monitors changes in various health metrics, though these are meant for general wellness rather than medical diagnoses. Google Health Coach offers personalized fitness and wellness guidance, although certain features require a Google Health Premium subscription.\n\nThe Edge marks Google's first repairable fitness tracker, featuring an internal modular design with a replaceable battery. Battery longevity is rated at up to seven days, with quick charging offering up to a day's use from a five-minute charge under Google's testing conditions. The device boasts 50-meter water resistance and will be available in four colors, including a Stephen Curry Special Edition priced at $219.99.\n\nThe Fitbit Edge is set for pre-order in supported markets and will launch in stores on October 27. Availability is listed for countries like Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. However, the UAE is not included in the initial launch market list, and local pricing remains undisclosed.",
