"account": "US actress Selma Blair was arrested on Monday after an altercation on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York City, authorities reported. The incident, which reportedly involved two flight attendants, led to Blair's detention at John F Kennedy Airport. According to the New York Times, Blair punched one flight attendant and bit another during the incident. The 54-year-old actress, known for her roles in \"Legally Blonde\" and \"Cruel Intentions,\" also allegedly assaulted a police officer and a nurse while being escorted to a hospital. A representative for Blair stated that the actress experienced a medical emergency, which triggered her behavior. Upon landing, Blair received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition. The FBI subsequently issued a summons accusing Blair of assaults on the plane, according to a federal judicial source. Blair appeared in court on Monday night, charged with two counts of second-degree assault, and was released on bail. Her next hearing is scheduled for January 19, 2027. Delta Air Lines emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for unruly or unlawful behavior, emphasizing the safety of passengers and crew as its top priority. In 2016, Blair was previously removed from a flight and had to be taken off in an ambulance following another outburst. In a 2022 memoir, Blair revealed that she had bitten several celebrities, including Kate Moss, often under the influence of alcohol.",
