"account": "Sharalee Hazen, the general manager for both the X Games League's XC Park City and Los Angeles teams, is eager to introduce a new generation of fans to action sports while building connections with Utah's best decorated athletes. The inaugural winter season of the X Games League is set to begin in Aspen, Colorado in 2027, aiming not just to win but to expand the action sports giant's legacy into a structured, team-based competition.\n\nHazen hopes the XGL will give athletes more financial support and new opportunities for fans to engage with the sports. \"We want people to cheer for their home team,\" she said. Unlike traditional team sports, athletes will continue training and competing individually in their respective disciplines. The league will provide guaranteed financial support for its athletes, covering their salaries and travel expenses, a first in action sports.\n\nXC Park City, bought by private equity investor Allen Thorpe, will have four teams, each consisting of 10 athletes - five men and five women. Athletes will compete across multiple disciplines in qualifiers before the weekend finals at three major events. The league will also give less common opportunities for athletes who were not drafted, allowing them to compete in the finals for prize money. Hazen assembled a roster for Park City XC Park City, including 22-year-old China snowboarder Yiming Su, who has won multiple Olympic, World Championship, and World Cup medals.",
