"account": "A 14-year-old boy was detained by French police following a shooting at his middle school in Aubagne, prosecutors announced. The boy allegedly opened fire with a shotgun concealed in a guitar case, targeting the principal and a teacher on the first floor. Both were wounded in the legs with pellets from a 12-gauge shotgun and were transported to a hospital, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The boy allegedly fired again on the second floor, hitting a teacher's teaching board but missing other students. A staff member disarmed the boy and he was subsequently taken into custody. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear. French President Emmanuel Macron commended the staff's composure, stating they prevented a more severe outcome. Mental health counseling was provided to the students. This incident, while rare, underscores the ongoing issue of school violence in France.",
