"account": "In Week 5, the Las Vegas Raiders faced the New England Patriots in a 45-17 loss. Rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza made his NFL debut in that game. Mendoza completed 6 of 8 passes for 48 yards during his lone drive in the fourth quarter, but the play resulted in a turnover on downs. Quarterback Kirk Cousins and the Raiders suffered their second straight defeat. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak discussed the possibility of making Mendoza the starter for Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday. The first-year coach's comments come after the Raiders' recent string of difficult opponents, including losses to the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots. The next six games for the Raiders are against tough teams like the Bills, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks, as well as on the road against the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. The Raiders have a bye week in Week 13. Meanwhile, veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins has posted a solid season with a 65.1 completion percentage, 1,269 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions in five games. This performance has earned him a 100.7 passer rating.",
