"account": "In the third inning of the NLCS Game 2, Milwaukee Brewers' offense took a toll on Los Angeles Dodgers' starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. After losing Game 1 against the Brewers, the Dodgers were confident in Yamamoto's performance in Game 2, expecting him to throw a complete game. However, this was not the case.\n\nYamamoto was out of the game in the third inning after throwing a total of 75 pitches. The Brewers capitalized on this, scoring three runs and taking a 3-2 lead. David Hamilton opened the third inning with a single, followed by Bryce Turang's walk to load the bases with one out. William Contreras contributed to the damage by driving in a run on a flyout. Finally, Jake Bauers and Christian Yelich delivered the decisive blow, with Bauers walking six times and Yelich singling to score all three runs.\n\nYamamoto's performance in this game was his shortest in playoff history, tying for the shortest among his playoff starts. It was a stark contrast to his performance in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series, where he threw a complete game to secure the Dodgers' championship. Yamamoto had previously thrown just three innings in his first playoff start in 2024.",
