"account": "Ismael Bonfim, a 30-year-old Brazilian fighter, has been dismissed from the UFC roster following a series of setbacks. During the preliminary bouts of UFC Vegas 122 in Las Vegas, Bonfim suffered a first-round knockout loss to Francisco Prado. The reason for his removal was not just the defeat, but his failure to make weight – he was 7.5 pounds over the designated limit. This marked Bonfim's fourth consecutive stoppage loss in the UFC, and his second missed weight occurrence, coupled with a fight cancellation due to weight-cut issues.\n\nPrior to his UFC debut, Bonfim had a reputation as \"Marreta\" with an impressive record of 18-3 after securing his spot via Dana White's Contender Series. He expressed his determination in a social media post, vowing, \"my story doesn’t end here.\" In Portuguese, he wrote, \"There are no excuses, no shame, and certainly no reason to give up. We made it this far by taking the hardest road, facing battles that few people know about, overcoming fears, breaking barriers, and fighting battles that go far beyond what happens inside the octagon.\" Bonfim emphasized that \"the outcome of a battle does not define a warrior’s worth, and a loss will never be enough to erase the entire story we’ve built.\"\n\nDespite the disappointment, Bonfim maintained a positive outlook. He said, \"I keep my head held high, my heart at peace, and my faith stronger than ever. Those who know where they came from, everything they’ve been through, and how hard they’ve had to fight to get here don’t give up because of one result. My story doesn’t end here. God is still writing the next chapters, and I trust Him completely. All honor and all glory be to God!\"",
