"account": "One person has lost their life and multiple others sustained injuries in an incident involving a Six Flags roller coaster in Georgia, police have reported. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at Six Flags Over Georgia, situated approximately 15 miles northwest of Atlanta, as per the Cobb County Police Department. Authorities from the major crimes unit are set to investigate the matter further. At this stage, the exact cause of death for the individual involved and the extent of injuries sustained by the others remain unconfirmed. Six Flags officials have stated that they responded swiftly to the situation and are currently cooperating fully with local authorities throughout the ongoing investigation. The park's spokesperson expressed profound sorrow over the unfortunate incident. In a separate development last month, Six Flags Magic Mountain in southern California announced plans to retire its popular X2 roller coaster following legal claims alleging severe brain injuries sustained by riders. Furthermore, Six Flags recently settled a wrongful-death lawsuit related to a 22-year-old man who died after riding the same coaster in 2022, with additional lawsuits alleging traumatic brain injuries filed recently. Tragically, in 2023, a 32-year-old man was killed after riding a high-speed roller coaster at Universal Epic Universe theme park in Florida, resulting from blunt impact injuries, with his death deemed accidental by the authorities.",
