"summary": "The Ogun APC Campaign Council has denied responsibility for the omission of Ladi Adebutu from the final list of governorship candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The council urged the PDP candidate to address internal issues.\n\nAccording to Daily Post Nigeria, the omission of several opposition politicians from the list of candidates for the 2027 elections has drawn criticism from the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC). The organization's Executive Director, Professor Isiaq Akintola, described the situation as worrisome and unfortunate, suggesting the omissions may be a coordinated attempt to silence opposition parties.\n\nDaily Post Nigeria reported that among the omitted names were the PDP candidate in Ogun State, Chief Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu, and the PDP governorship candidate in Gombe State, Professor Isa Ali Pantami. MURIC characterized the situation as a reflection of incompetence by the commission.",
