"account": "On Monday, four men lost their lives in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Azad Kashmir, according to the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR). The men, who were repairing a pipeline carrying spring water in Hajira tehsil, were reportedly killed when the explosive device detonated. All four victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The DGPR noted that due to the border demarcation's ambiguity close to the LoC, unexploded landmines present a continuous risk to both civilians and livestock. The statement did not provide further specifics about the incident. Poonch Divisional Commissioner Sardar Waheed Khan informed Dawn that Indian Army personnel were responsible for planting the landmine. Former AJK prime minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi expressed his sorrow over the fatalities, accusing India of killing Kashmiris both in the occupied territory and along the LoC in Azad Kashmir through the planting of improvised explosive devices and the shooting of individuals engaged in daily tasks like herding cattle, harvesting fodder, and gathering medicinal plants. Niazi blamed the ongoing loss of lives on the unresolved Kashmir issue, attributing it to India's unwillingness to address it.",
