"summary": "Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has dissolved the State Executive Council, affecting all commissioners and political appointees who served during his first term. According to Daily Trust, the dissolution includes members of the 2022–2026 Executive Council and comes ahead of the governor's second-term inauguration on October 16.\n\nThe dissolution does not affect three specific aides, who will retain their positions. Daily Trust refers to the Chief of Staff as Niyi Adebayo and the Chief Press Secretary as Yinka Oyebode.\n\nThe announcement was made during a valedictory meeting held at the Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti. Daily Post Nigeria reports that Oyebanji described the outgoing cabinet as a committed team and thanked them for their roles in implementing government policies.",
