"summary": "Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has dissolved the State Executive Council, which includes all commissioners and political appointees from his first term. The announcement was made during a valedictory meeting held on Monday at the Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti. According to Daily Trust, the dissolution precedes the governor's inauguration for a second term on October 16.\n\nThe dissolution does not affect three specific officials, who will retain their current positions. Daily Post Nigeria and Daily Trust both report that the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Habibat Adubiaro, the Chief of Staff, Adeniyi Adebayo, and the Chief Press Secretary, Olayinka Oyebode, will continue in their roles.\n\nDuring the meeting, Governor Oyebanji described the outgoing cabinet as a committed team and expressed gratitude for their support in implementing government policies. Daily Post Nigeria noted that the governor assured members he would remain in touch with them following their exit from the council.",
