"account": "Google is reportedly developing a new \"Shop this\" feature for Gemini’s floating overlay. This tool would be able to identify products displayed on screens, summarize their key selling points, and even provide comparisons. Unlike current Gemini retail tools, this enhanced version would allow users to effortlessly look up products across various apps they frequently use. The process of researching information about products encountered online has historically required some effort. If a relevant link wasn’t readily available or the product name was not explicitly mentioned, users could still turn to Google Lens for assistance. However, Gemini has streamlined this process significantly through its automatic screen context feature, which enables users to quickly delve into diverse content. This story explores preliminary evidence of Google's efforts to further improve this shopping experience by introducing additional shopping tools. Authority Insights offers exclusive reports, app teardowns, leaks, and detailed tech coverage that can be found exclusively in this article.",
