"account": "The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has cautioned applicants against purchasing admission spots or paying third parties who claim to have the power to influence, expedite, or guarantee admission into higher education institutions. In a Monday notice, JAMB emphasized that admission is not a commodity that can be bought and sold. The board urged candidates to adhere to established admission procedures and verify their admission status through official JAMB platforms to prevent being deceived by fraudsters. JAMB sternly warned candidates against engaging with individuals or online platforms that request money in return for unfounded promises to manipulate admission decisions. The board also cautioned candidates to safeguard their personal information and refrain from disclosing sensitive details to unauthorized entities. JAMB emphasized the importance of following the approved admission process, confirming one's status through official JAMB channels, and never sharing sensitive information with unverified sources. This warning comes as part of JAMB's ongoing initiatives to safeguard candidates from admission-related scams and fraud.",
