"account": "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commended European Council President António Costa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and EU member states for implementing a new set of sanctions targeting Russia's military-industrial complex. Zelenskyy expressed growing concerns that Russia is not inclined to abide by the energy truce proposed by the United States, and continues to carry out terrorist air raids on Ukrainian citizens. The president reported that Russian forces targeted six energy facilities in Ukraine on the same day, resulting in 33 injuries across the nation. Zelenskyy argued that the increase in revenue for Russia's war machine is the driving force behind these attacks. Consequently, intensifying pressure on Russian entities, specifically those engaged in the production of ballistic missiles and Shahed drones, is crucial to convey a serious commitment to ending the war in Ukraine. EU High Representative Kaja Kallas had previously announced that the EU Foreign Affairs Council had approved sanctions against 1,600 items associated with the Russian military-industrial complex.",
