"summary": "More than 100 people in Edo State have publicly renounced their membership in various cult groups following a mass ceremony organized by Governor Monday Okpebholo. The governor warned unrepentant cultists that his administration would show no mercy, and pledged to demolish buildings used for cult-related activities. Okpebholo's administration has reported a significant reduction in cult-related killings and kidnappings, attributing the decrease to stronger laws, improved security operations, and tougher enforcement.",
