"account": "Immigration agents searched the Minneapolis home of Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar on Monday morning as part of a criminal investigation, according to a US Justice Department spokesperson. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents executed a search warrant in the Washington, DC area, but no further details were provided. Omar, born in Somalia and a first-time Congresswoman elected in 2018, is currently campaigning for her re-election next month. The White House border tsar, Tom Homan, previously indicated that an investigation into Omar's immigration status was underway. Omar has denied these allegations, calling them \"complete shams.\" This is not the first time Omar's immigration records have been under scrutiny by Republicans, who unsuccessfully tried to subpoena her records earlier this year. The timing of the raid, less than a month before the midterm elections, may raise concerns among Democrats.",
