"summary": "The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has announced a N2bn Learners Retention Support Programme aimed at keeping 100,000 pupils in school by addressing financial barriers and providing necessary educational materials. The initiative, known as Flow with Confidence 2.0, is being implemented by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and will see each beneficiary receive N20,000 to overcome financial challenges to school attendance. The programme, which is part of the International Day of the Girl Child 2026 celebrations, includes the distribution of two million packs of sanitary towels and back-to-school learning materials to girls in public basic education schools across Nigeria. Tinubu emphasized the importance of addressing menstrual hygiene challenges and lack of access to basic educational materials as barriers to girls' education, particularly in rural communities.",
