"account": "Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler have been spotted in character for the upcoming movie \"Miami Vice ’85,\" with production now in full swing for the big-screen adaptation of the iconic TV series. Joseph Kosinski, known for \"Top Gun: Maverick\" and \"F1,\" is directing the film, which is based on the popular 1980s show starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas. Jordan will portray Tubbs, while Butler takes on the role of Crockett, alongside a strong supporting cast including Alden Ehrenreich, Camila Morrone, Walton Goggins, Danny Ramirez, John Leguizamo, Andre Holland, Michael Irby, and Whitney Peak. The film's cinematography is handled by Claudio Miranda, known for his work on \"F1\" and \"Top Gun: Maverick,\" and the project is produced by Dylan Clark. \"Miami Vice ’85\" is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2028, following a fresh take on the 1980s TV series that was groundbreaking for its use of popular music and cultural influences. The original show, adapted into a feature film in 2006, received mixed reviews but has since garnered a cult following. Mann is releasing a new version of the movie on home video later this year.",
