"account": "Chief Akilu Sayibu, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Tolon Constituency in Ghana's Northern Region, has expressed his belief that the party should not hold parliamentary primaries in the area. This stance comes after he previously advocated for such primaries during the last elections. Currently serving as the former deputy CEO of Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Sayibu is urging the party's incumbent Member of Parliament, Mr. Habib Iddrisu, to continue holding onto his seat in the 2028 elections.\n\nAccording to Sayibu, the party's resources should not be expended on contentious primaries, but instead should be utilized to promote the party and its MP in preparation for the 2028 election. He emphasized that the party's efforts should focus on securing victory for the incumbent and helping Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia secure the presidency.\n\nThe former Tamale North Parliamentary Candidate has requested that his supporters and family refrain from sharing any social or traditional media posts that could contradict his position. He intends to embark on a media tour to communicate his stance effectively.",
