"account": "Apple is set to unveil its HomeView smart home hub during the October 13 \"Welcome home\" event. Rumored to be Apple's answer to Amazon's Echo Hub, this device will feature a sleek design and Siri at its core. According to leaks from sources like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, HomeView will come in two form factors: a 6-inch screen mounted on a flat square plate or suspended over a spherical metal and fabric speaker base. One of the key differentiators will be the A18 chip and 8GB of RAM, providing local processing power for Siri AI tasks. However, the absence of an App Store is a surprising omission, with leaks suggesting users may need to \"project\" widgets from a nearby iPhone for third-party functionality. The device is expected to cost around $350, placing it just $100 below the price of a base iPad. Apple is also reportedly working on a suite of devices to seamlessly integrate with HomeView, including a smart lock, temperature sensor, and thermostat, all co-developed with LG.",
