"account": "Kedah police chief Adzli Abu Shah disclosed that an 18-year-old youth was subjected to two days of torture and subsequent disposal of his body by the roadside. The victim was abducted in Pendang on October 5 by a group of suspects who claimed he stole a motorcycle. Adzli mentioned that the victim was taken to a suspect's house, where he was detained, beaten, and his hair cut before being found dead in the house on October 7. The body was discovered by police on October 8, leading to the arrest of 14 suspects aged 16 to 24. Police also seized various items including 14 mobile phones, a car, a pair of scissors, and the victim's identity card. Twelve suspects were remanded for six days, and two minors for an additional day. The post-mortem revealed the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. The victim was found wearing yellow and black sportswear with head and facial injuries. Police are currently investigating the murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Additionally, police are tracking two men for their involvement in an attempted murder and obstructing police during an operation against migrant smuggling at the Hutan Kampung toll plaza on October 7. They intercepted a Proton X70 SUV suspected of carrying five migrants, but the driver allegedly attempted to run over a police officer before crashing into the toll barrier. The suspect fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle in Pendang. Police have detained several people in connection with this incident and are searching for two more individuals for further assistance.",
