"summary": "Federal agents searched the Washington, D.C.-area home of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar on Monday morning as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. A Department of Justice spokesperson confirmed that the Homeland Security Investigations unit executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice.\n\nPunch reported that the search was part of a federal criminal investigation, citing reports from the New York Post and Associated Press. The New York Post reported the investigation involves alleged fraud regarding the Democratic congresswoman's immigration paperwork. Business Recorder stated the raid occurred predawn and, citing a source familiar with the move, reported the investigation concerns paperwork filled out by Omar's late father when she was a child. The Justice Department did not provide further public details regarding the investigation.",
