"account": "Apple's upcoming iPad mini is set to be a major upgrade, but with a significant price increase, according to a report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The 2026 iPad mini is expected to cost nearly $799, a $200 increase from the $599 starting price of the previous model. This new device will feature an OLED display, Apple's new A20 Pro chip, a revamped speaker system, and a horizontally-placed FaceTime camera. Despite the higher price, the iPad mini could still offer good value. However, it would be considerably pricier than the $449 iPad and even the $749 iPad Air. The imminent release of Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, further raises questions about the affordability of the iPad mini in comparison. Apple is rumored to launch the iPad mini alongside its first-ever touchscreen MacBooks and a new iMac computer in late October.",
