"account": "The SJCAM SJ30 is a budget-friendly action camera designed for beginners, offering an impressive value for its price. Priced at $259, this modern action cam is much cheaper than competing brands like GoPro and DJI. The SJ30's unique design features a dual-sensor, 1/2.0in daylight and 1/1.8in starlight image sensor, providing enhanced low-light performance. With the ability to record in 8K resolution at 20fps or 4K at 60fps, it delivers high-quality video output. Slow-motion capabilities reach 240fps at 1080P, while photos can be captured at a resolution of 8640 x 4864 pixels. The camera is waterproof up to 5m / 16ft and includes a 2.5-inch flip touchscreen display, a 2-microphone setup, and weighs just 162 grams. Its compact size (74 x 52 x 38mm) and lightweight construction make it easy to handle during physical activities. Despite lacking a front-facing LCD screen, the SJ30's articulated main LCD provides a versatile shooting experience. The camera feels robust and resistant to minor impacts, though there is a slight concern about the hinge mechanism's durability when subjected to harsh conditions. Overall, the SJCAM SJ30 is a compelling option for those seeking an affordable action camera that doesn't compromise on performance.",
"summary": "I spent a month using the SJCAM SJ30 action camera and while it certainly goes easy on the bank balance, it lacks the shine of products from more established brands",
