"account": "Former South African President Thabo Mbeki congratulated Judge Navi Pillay on her recent Nobel Peace Prize win. In a statement released by his foundation, Mbeki emphasized the significance of the honor, as it was during his presidency that Pillay was nominated for election to the International Criminal Court. Her election in 2003 demonstrated South Africa's trust in her judgment and integrity. Judge Pillay's dedication to the continent was further proven through her involvement in various international cases, including the Rwanda tribunal which investigated the 1994 genocide. As current conflicts in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Ethiopia continue to pose challenges, Africa is reminded of Judge Pillay's commitment to justice. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump criticized the Nobel committee for awarding the peace prize to Pillay, leading to backlash from human rights organizations worldwide opposing Trump's attacks and questioning Pillay's integrity.",
