"account": "This year's Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences has been awarded to two American researchers, Robert E. Hall and Michael Woodford. Their recognition stems from their work on the \"microeconomic foundations of macroeconomic stabilization.\" The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm announced the decision. According to Ellen Moons, the General Secretary of the Academy, their models suggest that well-coordinated fiscal and monetary policies can mitigate economic swings both upward and downward. The economics prize is typically announced on the Monday following the other Nobel awards, distinguishing it as the only prize not derived from Alfred Nobel's will. Established in 1968, the economics prize was first awarded in 1969, hence it is officially known as the Prize of the Swedish Central Bank for Economic Sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel. Like the other awards, it is given on December 10th, Nobel's birthday, in Stockholm, Sweden. In recent weeks, Nobel laureates in Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Peace have also been announced. Among the three Medicine winners this year are Peter Hegemann and Georg Nagel, both German researchers. Anne Carson, a renowned Canadian poet, translator, and essayist, won the prestigious Literature award this year. The Peace Prize was awarded to South African jurist Navanethem Pillay for her work against genocide and human rights.",
