"account": "COLUMBUS, OH - On October 10, 2026, Ohio State secured a 45-16 victory over Maryland at Ohio Stadium, moving their record to 5-1 and 3-0 in Big Ten play. The game started poorly for Ohio State, as they were outscored 14-10 in the second quarter. Things improved when Jeremiah Smith caught a touchdown pass, followed by another one on a completely uncovered route. The Buckeyes led 31-10 at halftime. Sayin had a poor performance, throwing four touchdowns and possibly his worst game of the season. Despite the defensive struggles, Ohio State's run game dominated the day, with Bo Jackson rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, and Ja'Kobi Jackson adding 76 yards. The secondary also shone, holding Maryland's Malik Washington to 64 passing yards and Chris Durr Jr. to only 15 yards. Ohio State's defense faced issues with sacks, failing to get any against Maryland. The lack of pass rush will be a concern heading into the next game against Indiana.",
