"account": "Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed media attention surrounding his 1,000th career goal, asserting that numbers alone do not determine his legacy in football. The 41-year-old striker for Al Nassr expressed irritation with the focus on his pursuit of this milestone, emphasizing that reaching 1,000 goals does not prove his place in football history. Ronaldo's comments came after he scored his 980th goal in a recent Saudi Pro League match against Al-Driyah.\n\nIn an interview with CNN, Ronaldo stated, \"People do not appreciate what I am doing now. All they care about is how many goals I have left to reach 1,000. I do not like this. Things should happen naturally.\" He added, \"Whether I score 920, 925, or 930 goals, I am content as long as I am enjoying the game.\" The Portuguese football icon firmly declared, \"I am the greatest in history, without dispute.\" Ronaldo acknowledged that comparisons to other football legends like Lionel Messi, Pelé, and Diego Maradona are inevitable, expressing respect for differing opinions. He affirmed, \"If someone prefers Messi, Pelé, or Maradona, that is a personal choice and I respect it. But to claim that I am not a complete player is an outright lie. I am the most complete player in history.\"",
