"account": "Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, a member of the African Democratic Congress, has expressed his outrage over the abduction of a man, his wife, and their infant child in Kaduna State. In a statement on his verified X account, Atiku emphasized that no Nigerian should face the terrifying prospect of pleading for their life or the safety of their loved ones at the hands of criminals. He was deeply disturbed by the thought of a baby caught up in such a harrowing situation, calling for prompt and decisive action from security agencies to ensure the safe release of Ahmed Zakka, his wife, their child, and all other Nigerians still held captive. Atiku pointed out that this incident came at a time when many families were already struggling with the rising cost of living, including higher prices for food, transportation, and other essential goods. He stressed that Nigerians should not have to live in fear of abduction in their homes or on the roads, especially when they are already grappling with the added burden of economic hardship. The video showing Ahmed Zakka reportedly abducted with his wife and infant child has further highlighted the pervasive insecurity that continues to endanger lives and tear families apart across Nigeria. Atiku urged the government not to merely offer empty promises but to take concrete steps to rescue those in captivity, safeguard vulnerable communities, and dismantle the criminal networks perpetrating these heinous crimes. He concluded by stating that every Nigerian deserves to live, work, and raise a family without the constant dread of violence.",
