"account": "Pittsburgh — Rain, wind, and distance posed minimal challenges for Colts kicker Spencer Shrader during Sunday's game against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. The field was so wet due to the remnants of Hurricane Isaias that the tarp remained on for extended pregame warmups, and players struggled with slippery footing. Despite these conditions, Shrader managed to make five field goals, including two from 57 and 56 yards out. \"Wet and a little bit of wind,\" Shrader remarked, emphasizing that while weather and distance are factors, they shouldn't distract a kicker from focusing on his routine. The 27-year-old kicker has already made six field goals of 50 yards or more this season, tying him for fourth among Colts kickers in a single season, and has scored 16 total field goals. Shrader's resilience and mental strength have been instrumental in his impressive start to the season. He overcame a torn ACL and MCL that sidelined him during the 2025 campaign and initially struggled with Blake Grupe for the starting job. Now, Shrader emerges as one of the NFL's top young kickers, showcasing his powerful right leg and ability to excel from midfield. His success stems from a combination of soccer background and mental fortitude, allowing him to simplify the task of making field goals. \"It sounds crazy, but that's as simple as it is,\" Shrader stated. \"It's just about hitting a good ball.\" No matter the field conditions or distance, Shrader's primary focus remains on executing a solid kick.",
