"account": "Indiana men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries drew inspiration for his team from Indiana football’s recent fourth-quarter comeback against Nebraska. Facing the Huskers with an 11-point deficit in the final stages of the game, the Fighting Irish staged a dramatic rally, scoring two touchdowns to prevail by three points. DeVries shared this example with his Hoosiers, emphasizing the importance of belief, discipline, and consistency in overcoming adversity. As a result, the freshmen mixed with veterans were determined to apply the football team’s mentality to basketball. \"Good teams find a way to win games like this,\" DeVries told his players. The Hoosiers proved their point against Butler, winning 96-68 in an exhibition game. DeVries cited their improved rebounding as another success, praising players like Samet Yigitoglu, Aiden Sherrell, and Trevor Manhertz for their efforts. The team’s focus on fundamentals, honed over the offseason, bore fruit in the second half. With two more exhibitions ahead, the Hoosiers aim to maintain this winning mentality as they prepare for the regular season, which kicks off against Eastern Illinois on November 2.",
