"account": "The Malaysian air force anticipates receiving the FA-50M light combat aircraft from Korea Aerospace Industries on schedule, according to Defence Minister Khaled Nordin. The specific arrival date will be announced soon, though it is expected to occur this or next month. So far, there have been no indications of a delivery delay. The contract for the 18 FA-50 Block 20 aircraft, designated as the FA-50M, was signed in May 2023, with a value of approximately RM4 billion. These advanced jets surpass the capabilities of the FA-50s currently in service with the Korean air force and other nations, such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In June, the Malaysian air force had stated that two jets were set to arrive in October, with the remaining aircraft to follow in stages through March 2028.",
